I've been told for years that rare romantic moments can change ones life. But I'm the curious type. I had to find out for myself. A romantic at heart, it seemed only proper to weave romance and adventure into my honeymoon, spent in a combination of activities including enjoying white Caribbean beaches, treking through Guatemala's Peten jungle, camping on the Monkey River and lazing in the sun at an Isla Mujeres Resort. Let me tell you, it can change your life.
The first time I read about the Villa Maria Christina Luxury Hotel in Guanajuato I sensed the same type of rare experience awaiting discovery. Why it struck me this way I do not know, but it seemed as though gazing at the Internet Portal was like stumbling upon a Buddist pilgrimage in the mountains. There was a sense of mystery and mysticism; a feeling of rare and unusual place to spend a romantic adventure.
My schedule, and travel budget) have not allowed to experience first hand this remarkable travel oasis, but I am certain -- call it a sixth sense sort of thing -- there is a rare romantic adventure awaiting you at this remarkable destination.
Expect the best, and the price tag that goes along with it. But if you're looking to spoil that soul mate in your life, perhaps a Honeymoon getaway or a retreat where vows can be repeated, this luxury hotel may be the perfect getaway destination of the year.
